I took this of our dog Layla, early one morning in September in the town of Stone Ridge in Ulster County, NY.

The unispehere on a frigid night leaving an opening at the Queens Museum.
I like the glow from the condensation on the lens.

Vacationers at a salt lake resort of Solotvyne in Ukraine, covered in mud from the bottom of the lakes which they believe have health benefits. Must be the same with beer!

Ooops uploaded the wrong pic. The last one was a bit fuzzy, this one was clearer. Taken in JC in the morning on the way to work. Amazing sunrise, no filters applied...

I took this in JC on my way to work on Feb 7. No instagram filters, that is how it actually looked! Amazing...

Upstate New York, September 2013. Every year my boyfriend and I go to see my parents and take in the fall foliage. The rusting farm machinery is something I see all over the area, and it wouldn't be home without it. I love the resplendent fall tree, the honeyed afternoon light, and these strangely beautiful man-made forms. Autumn is slowly, cozily, fading for the year.

Late July 2013 in Glacier National Park, Montana, heading up the Going to the Sun Road. The deep snow of winter had melted forming these amazing natural bridges. To me the juxtaposition of the snow in summer always speaks to the great changes in climate our world is undergoing. Who knows how long phenomena like this will exist. I feel lucky to see Glacier Park while there are still glaciers!

I took a photo of the setting sun in the parking lot if a Verizon garage at 26th Ave in Brooklyn. I wasn't expecting my iPhone 5S to capture as much color and detail that it did

This year celebrated my 35th High School
Reunion from Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The class of '78 had more than 800 students. For this photo they broke us down in groups that consisted of the junior high and elementary schools that we attended. This is the Roosevelt Jr. High group, which that building no longer exists. Many of us started together in elementary school. In 1968 my African -American family moved to Cleveland Hts. just a few years after the laws changed allowing us to move into these beautiful communities with excellent school systems allowed African-American's to move their. I took this photo because it shows a community 35 years latter that reflects racial unity and the possibility of it. Though I now live in Brooklyn,NY, I had a great childhood in the Midwest. As you can see everyone looks very happy. We had 3 days of celebration. I believe photos of happy people give the observer a sense of positive well being that should be shared.

My sister and I were visiting rooftop bars in midtown to find the best venue for enjoying the city skyline at night. Could not resist taking a photo of the Empire State Building … a New York beacon.

After a great dinner during summer Restaurant Week, I decided to walk to Little Italy for a few cannoli to go. The pattern on this apartment building caught my eye … especially the diagonal line of the fire escape. I added a grunge effect to amp up the color and texture.

These parrots came to visit Meena in Pune, Maharashtra. I think they were discussing Christmas presents that hadnt arrived by DHL.
Her cell ph always by her side caught the shot. What is better than parrots close to a fir tree. ... 12 days of Christmas, Indian style.
Posting for my friend, Meena

I took it at dawn in Chicago in October 2013 while I was at a meditation conference for veterinarians. The photo memoralised my weekend there.
The moon peering through this tree appeared to be a perfect background for the quiet crispiness of the morning air

This is the 2013 NYC Marathon taken on the corner of Sackett & 4th Ave. in the PARKSLOPE section of Brooklyn. The reason that I took it is because of the fact that this man is running in a traditional head dress and custom with a painting of OUR LADY OF GUADELOUPE. Besides serious runners, this runner I found most interesting. I just happen to catch him at the right moment

This is a photo of a Bansky piece he placed at Yankee Stadium during his October residency in NY. The graffiti has been painted over so I'm glad I was able to get a good picture of it. I really liked this piece and how the colors (especially the blue background) look in this photo.

Birds of a feather -
The melancholy of a summer evening in the Hudson valley. The rays of the evening sun cast long shadows across the lush green grass. The Canadian geese forage into the evening with monotonous melancholy.

Tranquility -
A fleeting drop of solitude in a sea of humanity. As the chaos of Manhattan is left behind, the tide rises in the East River. A lone kayaker finds solace in the silence as the last rays of the sun touch the very tip of the tallest skyscrapers in the evening sky.
This is my piece de resistance.

I spotted this "reminder" on a Bell Blvd store's back door and couldn't help but snort. About a month after I snapped this photo, I saw the same message scrawled on a guard rail as I was waiting for the light to turn green. There's something a little Banksy about it, I like to think.
