a disco ball

Disco was born from New York's fractured and fertile urban landscape during the 1970s, and quickly became the city's main musical export during the fiscal-crisis era. Disco's cultural evolution was deeply connected to the city's demographic and financial changes, as its promulgators appropriated vacant buildings, fused musical styles and attracted diverse patrons to the dancefloor's potential utopianism.

Personally I am flummoxed by the obvious, which went unregarded, that is, the new seating arrangement on the newer cars which may or may have not been circa 70's disco balls notwithstanding. That icon, the new plasti-formed seat was an icon of a moment when new subway cars were introduced to the system. Regardless, as very New Yorker learns, sooner or later, LOOK before you seat.

A vote here for the SEAT not the ball.
