I have had a nearly four-decade-long passionate love affair with Riverside Park, so I snap photos nonstop when I'm out with my dog. This was on Tuesday, December 10, after the snow had stopped. It was not yet, dusk, but the lights along Riverside were on, and in the distance I saw people approaching. I snapped about 20 photos, because the landscape looked like a Monet painting: blue sky, dark, bare trees, benches, iron, and the yellow in those old-fashioned lamps that line Riverside that I adore. I thought his was the best.
