I shot this photo this past fall at sunset after a heavy rain. It was taken on the new boardwalk in Long Beach, New York. The figure on the boardwalk is my husband who is taking a photo. He ran up ahead of me to get the magnificent light and color of the sunset. When I got to the top the ramp there was this perfect picture with the light reflecting on the new hardwood. The
boardwalk had been destroyed during hurricane Sandy. We are enjoying having the boardwalk back in our lives. It was beautifully reconstructed and that makes it all the more special.
