I took this photo back in April. I posted it on the Audubon Society's Facebook page and people seemed to like it--the recurring theme in the commens was that people liked seeing the wild bird next to the reflection of the urban landscape. The Pond at the southern end of Central Park is a peaceful refuge for me, at least first thing in the morning. A beautiful, quiet place where egrets and herons will spend some time looking for fish and posing for photos. :-)
