June 26th, the day the Supreme Court struck down DOMA, my girlfriend and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We walked past Stonewall, where Edie Windsor was speaking and hundreds of people were gathered and stopped in front of the bar to take our photo. When we looked at the photo we'd taken of ourselves, we realized we'd also captured two men directly behind us at the same time having the same moment. The real news was it was also their anniversary, and they were celebrating 8 years that day! It was the most beautiful accidental photobomb ever!
