In mid - December 2013, I went to Prospect Park to take pictures of the snow before it melted. I wanted to catch the light before the evening so I positioned the trees within the frame and took the picture just as the sun came out from behind the clouds giving light to the long meadow below.
The thick and fine branches weave a pattern that the obscures the meadow beyond.
