A Random Opportunity;
A Man and His Dog

I saw them in front of the Sephora on Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District.

I asked the man the dog's name: Brutus. Brutus is darling and let me pet him. I then spontaneously asked the man if I could take their picture. How could I resist this man and dog pair? And the setting: the fact that they were sitting directly under the huge make-up ad in the window of Sephora made it all the more "interesting!"
