I took this photo of my friend at a going away party for our other friend, who was about to leave to Japan for a period of time. I took it because my friend here was knocking back this terribly bright red beverage (a "Strawbaritta," I believe), which in my mind must have been an awful experience, in front of a poster of a young girl wearing a shirt reading the slogan "EVERYTHING IS SHIT." The look on her face implies, to me at least, "look at what's going on here... my shirt, indeed, speaks the truth." I like it because all of the elements together make me chuckle.
