Piazza del Campo, Siena, Italy
The fishbowl effect of the panorama shot augments the real fishbowl of the piazza. Twice a year all the cafes surrounding it are converted into a horsetrack for 'Il Palio di Siena'. The bareback race is a local event, not a tourist attraction. People hang out of their windows or if they are feeling adventurous, standing behind the flimsy race baricade where riders and horses might topple onto them. The rest of the year its a relaxed area to take in the sun and people watch from the cafes.

I took the train in the wrong direction from 23rd street and got out at the last stop in Manhattan. I decided to walk up the East River and found this. There was another girl there too taking pictures and we hopped the fence together to get a closer look. NYC magic at its finest.

Kona, Hawaii this past May. So beautiful. This beach had surfers earlier in the day, but the waves were calmer at sunset. I was trying to capture the fabled "green flash," but never did see it. I was disappointed at the time, but this shot reminds me of the incredible beauty of Hawaii's Big Island.
