We were on the Lake Shore Limited near Rhinecliff, at the start of a 16-day cross-country train trip. I took a shot of the Hudson and only afterwards noticed I had caught a wedding party.

I took this photo from my apartment window on the lower east side. This picture is part of a series of photos of the same view and cityscape. My photos of the city skyline show the every changing beauty of New York City as framed by nature (the sky). As an aspiring photographer I make it my priority to stay open minded when I photograph. This technique has really helped throughout my journey as an artist.things<--(change word) This photo was taken with my iPhone.

There are so many gems in San Francisco including the Moraga steps. At the top is a beautiful view of the ocean and from the bottom you can see the tiles that form mosaics of the sun, moon and other scenic patterns. There are hundreds of outside staircases in the city and this is my favorite. Plus the dog seems very happy in this photo.

I was following this guy for about 2 miles before I snapped this (at a stop light). I couldn't resist because the back windows had those cute curtains.

This Brooklyn squirrel is relishing an avocado it just stole from my kitchen, while sitting in my window box 6 stories above the ground.

I took this photo a few mornings ago because i 1)Knew about this contest and 2)wanted to see how good my cellphone camera performed at night. It does not have the manual adjustments that my DSLR has but I could try minor post production edits with a mobile app. Hope you like it. Brooklyn from the Broadway Junction platform facing south west.

It was taken on December 9 during the last nor'easter. The wind and rain were so strong that I was completely soaked from the waist down within minutes of leaving my apartment. I felt such rage towards NYC at that moment, and then I saw this umbrella. This city has broken me many times in my 14 years here, but I [still] <3 NY CITY.

My friend and I were driving eastbound on the litoral highway, Belt Parkway. The magnificent Verrazano-Narrows bridge appeared in front of us. The views of the river/bay and the connectivity factor make it functional and beautiful. In the horizon the blue sky and moonlight project the mistery of romantic hope beyond the bridge. If only one dares to initiate the journey.

While walking along the road that runs along Titicus Reservoir in North Salem, N.Y. I stopped to marvel how stunning a sight this was and decided an autumn scene photo was definitely in order.
