Eric Salat

Eric Salat is a New York-based associate producer for ABC News. His recent credits include an ABC News special looking into the murder trial of a 17-year-old Hispanic woman in Arizona to see if she acted in self-defense, a show on how young people in the Arab world view the United States, and a special investigating whether Osama Bin Laden is dead or alive. 

He is currently working on various war-related projects. Eric won a Peabody Award as well as a DuPont Award for his work covering the attack on the World Trade Centers from Ground Zero. His print pieces have appeared on ABC News.com, DowJones Newswires, and the Wall Street Journal Online. Eric earned a masters degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 1999.
