Lisa Messinger is Associate Curator in the Department of Nineteenth-Century, Modern, and Contemporary Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is author of several books on Georgia O’Keeffe. Messinger has lectured widely on the Alfred Stieglitz circle of artists, including O’Keeffe, and in Fall 2011 will publish a catalogue of the Alfred Stieglitz Collection at the Metropolitan Museum, which will be accompanied by a large exhibition of the Museum’s holdings from this collection.
