Max Fine is an Associate Producer for WQXR, where he is the audio producer for the Artist Propulsion Lab and other radio specials. He started as an intern at the station in 2015 and returned as a staff producer in 2018. Previously, he was the assistant producer on the third season of Aria Code, and produced Young Artists Showcase, Reflections From the Keyboard, the podcast WQXR In Conversation, and more. He also previously programmed WQXR’s Operavore stream.
Before working at WQXR, Max studied history at Vassar College. He fell in love with classical music in high school, and also plays piano, which he really ought to practice more.
