Filmmaker Richard Kaplan talks about his life and work. His celebrated documentaries include: The Eleanor Roosevelt Story, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary in 1965; King: A Filmed Record…Montgomery to Memphis; A Look at Liv (Ullmann); The Exiles; and Varian and Putzi: A 20th Century Tale. The film exhibition “Wayfarer and Truthteller: A Retrospective Look at the Films of Richard Kaplan” is playing at MoMA February 7-15.
