2 and 3 Train Delays Due to Derailment

WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

Officials say they're trying to restore normal service on the 2 and 3 subway lines in time for the evening rush, after a No.2 train derailed this morning in Lower Manhattan.

New York City Transit says the Brooklyn-Bound train derailed at Park Place Station around 9:20. The cause is under investigation. No one was hurt.

No.2 service has been rerouted onto the Lexington Avenue line while Number three service has been suspended between Times Square and Atlantic Avenue. Number One trains are not effected.
