New York, NY —
The city is continuing to dig out and dry off from the recent Nor'easter storm. A city Parks Department spokesperson says there was some erosion at Rockaway and Coney Island beaches.
REPORTER: And the Bronx River experienced some flooding. City park worker Miguel Napoleoni says he and crews at Prospect Park have been working 14-hour days to keep up with the cleanup.
NAPOLEONI: Well, we've been unclogging the drains and the trees that fell down, so we've been cutting them up and chipping them up - big trees.
REPORTER: Napoleoni says about eight trees have fallen in Brooklyn's Prospect Park so far. But forestry calls to 311 requesting tree and branch cleanup have been fewer than anticipated.
