Corzine Still on Ventilator, Heavily Sedated

Governor Corzine is still on a ventilator and heavily sedated, following more surgery on his left leg. The governor suffered a compound fracture in his femur during a car accident last week.

REPORTER: Doctor Stephen Ross, head of trauma at Cooper University hospital, says the surgery was to remove some dead tissue and muscle. he says Corzine doesn't need any more surgeries at the moment.

ROSS: I don't say patients are out of wood until they leave hospital. not out of woods yet.

REPORTER: Doctors say they hope Governor Corzine will be able to walk normally within three to six months.
