The wrestler known as the "Hebrew Hercules" had died. His real name was Abe Coleman, a longtime resident of Queens. He stood 5-feet three inches tall and weighed two hundred and twenty pounds. In the ring, he was known for his wild moves like the "flying head butt" and the "airplane spin".
REPORTER: One of Coleman's favorite hang-outs was the T-Bone diner in Queens. Owner Georgois Plevritis says even in his 90's Coleman wasn't someone you should try and tangle with:
PLEVRITIS: He told me a story...8 years ago he was working down his home and there was 2 people that tried to grab him and he fought them back - it was like 2/3 young guys. And he defend himself - he really hurt the guys, they just took off.
REPORTER: Abe Coleman,also known as the Jewish Tarzan died last Wednesday in Queens. He was one-hundred and one years old.
