A Three-way Race?
State Comptroller Carl McCall, millionaire businessman Tom Golisano and Governor George Pataki are circling eathother warily. After Andrew Cuomo dropped out before the Democratic primary, McCall unchallanged. Now, with Tom Golisano continuing to spend money and threatening to spend tens of millions more, some Democratic consultants are saying that George Pataki may have underestimated McCall.

As the clock runs out, Democrat Carl McCall and Republican Governor Pataki are both trying to energize their CORE supporters. This, as a new poll finds Pataki's lead over McCall is widening.
