On Tuesday WNYC brings you the latest from all the bigest New York and New Jersey races, with reporters stationed at the headquarters of Pataki, McCall, Golisano, Forrester, and Lautenberg, as well as New York and New Jersey polling stations. NY Governor's Race
State Comptroller Carl McCall, millionaire businessman Tom Golisano and Governor George Pataki are circling eathother warily. After Andrew Cuomo dropped out before the Democratic primary, McCall unchallanged. Now, with Tom Golisano continuing to spend money and threatening to spend tens of millions more, some Democratic consultants are saying that George Pataki may have underestimated McCall.

US Senate Race in New Jersey and Other NJ Races
Democratic New Jersey senator Robert Torricelli withdrew from the Senate race in an emotional speech on September 30th. Frank Lautenburg, Ex-US Senator, Retired Corporate CEO & Army Veteran, will take his place on the ballot, challanged by the Republican candidate millionaire businessman, Douglas Forrester.

New York State Comptroller's Race
With the State Comptroller running for Governor, what's the former City Comptroller to do but run for state Comptroller? Former City Comptroller Alan Hevesi, a Democrat, is running against Republican State Assembly member John Faso.
