Mrs. John W. Castles announces that the San Francisco Conference has opened (representatives of 50 nations gathered, the meeting resulted in the creation of the United Nations Charter). Once again through a discussion with Mr. Chlids Castles reminds us of the importance of actively pursuing knowledge of the international peace organization effort.
Castles and Childs "eavesdrop" again on Phillip, Margaret Duncan, Janet, George, and Alice.
Margaret attempts to understand the conference by identifying the different boxes on her table as different committees. The "girls" are quizzed by the men. They go on to describe details of the proposed organization.
