This presentation of the Works Progress Administration and the Federal Music Project features the music of a children's orchestra, ages 8 to 16. The announcer notes that the the children have never previously played a musical instrument. Taught by Vincenzo Palladino, they play the mandolin, mandola, guitar and bass.
The first composition is called Serenata by [Giugno] followed by two compositions by Mr. Palladino.
In between each composition, the announcer says a few words in support of the Works Progress Administration.
