Governor Chris Christie sparked outrage Sunday after being seen at a beach that he ordered closed due to the government shutdown in New Jersey.
His family stayed at a state-owned beach house at Island Beach State Park. Aerial photos showed Christie and members of his family on the empty beach, while members of the public had to be content with beaches on nearby Berkeley Township and South Seaside Park.
