Brian asked Congressmember Clarke to weigh in on reparations, a conversation we've had several times on the show this week. She said:

"When you look at the circumstances that many families of African descendants find themselves in, it's rooted in a disproportionate disadvantage based upon discrimination and racism that has existed in this nation since the transatlantic slave trade. So I am for it, and I think our nation could benefit from a real honest and open conversation about what reparations would and should look like."
