Cuomo’s Critics Worry He Could Be Setting Himself Up to Run Again

Governor Andrew Cuomo struck an apologetic tone during parts of his resignation speech on Tuesday, but he also staunchly denied accusations that he sexually harassed 11 women and touched some of them inappropriately. Instead, he said he was resigning so the state could get back to business, while he proudly listed his accomplishments, like new infrastructure projects, the 15 dollar minimum wage and more.

Now, his critics are concerned the disgraced governor is trying to salvage his damaged reputation in advance of another run for office. WNYC senior reporter Beth Fertig and All Things Considered host Sean Carlson discussed what could be next for Cuomo.
