Over the last few years, the state of Michigan has changed. During the 2016 election cycle, both Republicans and Democrats have a chance to win The Great Lakes State.

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell represents Michigan's 12th district. She's warning her constituents and other Michiganders about complacency and Democrats who get over confident at this stage of the campaign.

She sat down with Takeaway Washington Correspondent Todd Zwillich at the Democratic National Convention to explore the difficult work ahead for a party that is increasingly divided.
