Work and money director at Refinery29, Lindsey Stanberry, joins us to discuss the new book she edited, Money Diaries: Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Know About Your Finances...And Everyone Else’s.  Refinery29’s series, Money Diaries, has become a sensation, offering readers an inside look into how anonymous diarists live and spend. The book features never-before-published diary entries and tips for how to get better at saving and knowing your finances. Stanberry has two upcoming events. On Wednesday, September 26, she'll be in conversation with Catey Hill of Moneyish at Book Culture at 7pm (26-09 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101). And on Thursday, October 18, Stanberry will give a talk at Space Ninety8 in collaboration with Urban Outfitters at 7pm (98 N. 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249).      

Composer and installation artist, Ashley Fure, joins us to discuss the world premiere of her newest work, “Filament,” which opened this season of the New York Philharmonic at the Opening Gala Concert on September 20. There will be additional performances on September 21, 22, and 25.
