Carina Chocano, frequent contributor to the New York Times Magazine and Elle, and author of You Play the Girl: On Playboy Bunnies, Stepford Wives, Train Wrecks, and Other Mixed Messages (Mariner Books, 2017), talks about how culture influenced her growing up and applies this to how women perceive themselves, what they're meant to be and where they belong.
