Jane Campion is an accomplished Oscar-winning filmmaker and director. Among her many achievements is 1993's "The Piano." Campion is also the second of four women to ever be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director. Campion chats with us about her life in film and her return to the small screen with her upcoming limited series, “Top of the Lake: China Girl” starring Elisabeth Moss.

“Top of the Lake: China Girl” will be presented by SundanceTV as a three-night special event starting Sunday, Sept. 10 and continuing Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 9 p.m.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center will host a retrospective of Jane Campion's work titled "Jane Campion's Own Stories" from Sept. 8-17. Campion will appear for two events during the retrospective. Including "An Evening with Jane Campion" on Sept. 8  at 7 p.m. and a sneak peak of "Top of the Lake: China Girl" on Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The sneak peak will be followed by a Q&A with Campion and series co-creator Gerard Lee.
