Democrat Mimi Rocah has promised to tackle public corruption, including misconduct allegations captured in secret tapes by a police whistleblower in Mount Vernon. Parts of those recordings were first aired by WNYC as part of its year-long series, "The Mount Vernon Police Tapes." The former federal prosecutor has also pledged to do more for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
