Canadian-American competition swimmer and six-time Olympic medalist Missy Franklin discusses her book, Relentless Spirit: The Unconventional Raising of a Champion, along with her parents D.A. Franklin and Dick Franklin. Missy, who holds the world record for the 200-meter backstroke, tells the story of how she became the athlete she is today, from years of training, support and persistence, to her Olympic debut in London’s 2012 games at age 17.
