Morgan Neville, Cinema Eye Honors, Lula Wiles

Morgan Neville joins us to discuss his documentaries, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” and “They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead.” "Won't You Be My Neighbor" premieres on HBO on February 9. 

 

Documentarians and their subjects will be receiving awards at the 12th annual Cinema Eye Honors, a ceremony designed to honor not only the best documentary films, but everyone who worked behind the camera to make the magic happen. Founded in 2007 by documentarian AJ Schnack, (at 21:22) the awards will be presented at the Museum of the Moving Image on January 10. Schnack joins us to talk about some of the best documentaries of 2018.

 

The folk trio, Lula Wiles, (31:31) continues their conversation with Alison and also performs live in-studio.
