Singer-songwriter-activist and songbook interpreter Nellie McKay has a beautiful new album called Sister Orchid. She came to our studios recently to talk with host Paul Cavalconte about everything from In A Sentimental Mood to Edie Sedgwick's final film.

Nellie McKay is back at WNYC on Friday, September 7th to appear in Julian Fleisher's 44 Charlton variety show at The Greene Space. And starting starting September 19th, she'll do a run at the new Birdland Theater, under the famous 44th Street jazz club.
