
Whether we're living in the "Golden Age of Television" or just "Peak T.V.," one thing is for sure: there are a lot of nominees up for all sorts of awards at the 71st Emmy Awards.
The ceremony this Sunday is sure to highlight blockbusters like "Game of Thrones" and "VEEP," both of which wrapped up their final seasons this year. But there are plenty of other series that are waiting in the wings and could very well upset the safe picks: shows like HBO's dark comedy "Barry," Amazon's hit "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," and Netflix's surreal "Russian Doll." Alison Stewart, host of WNYC's All of It, has been interviewing the teams behind some of the top shows, and she joined Morning Edition's Richard Hake to break down the awards and share a few predictions.
