12PM, on Facebook Live

Music For The Soul is the name of a daily series of live performance streams put together by the Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment and NYC Health and Hospitals. They’ll happen every day at noon until July 4, and a range of musicians will take part, but they’ll be hard pressed to match the star power of Monday, June 22. Suzanne Vega has long been one of New York’s most respected singers and songwriters, with hits like “Luka” and “Tom’s Diner.” And Norah Jones, whose home is suffering from a long-term infestation of Grammy Awards, will play as well.

Norah Jones and Suzanne Vega perform at noon on Mon., June 22, in a live stream called Music For The Soul – a series created to inspire the staff and the patients in NY’s public hospitals. Here's a song from her Norah Jones' new album Pick Me Up Off the Floor; it’s called “To Live.”
