The world's largest flag is unfurled at the World's Fair for "Old Glory Week"

Opening of "Old Glory Week" at 1940 World's Fair, the last week of the fair. Announces that at 7 p.m. there will be a light ceremony, followed by a Mardi Gras parade featuring Ms. Queens, and red, white, blue search lights. Harvey D. Gibson, Chairman of the 1940 Fair speaks briefly. Mayor La Guardia speaks and the world's largest flag is unfurled from the trilon and is followed by a 21-gun salute. Band plays the Star Spangled Banner. Mayor La Guardia leads a mass pledge of allegiance via radio for all of the city's school children to follow his lead. Sound is very clean.
