Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has used his platform to speak out about social justice issues off the court. He took time to do that again at a press conference earlier this week ahead of the NBA Finals. This time, he addressed the culprit who spray painted the "n-word" on the front gate of his home in Los Angeles.

“No matter how much money you have,  no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough," James said when asked about the incident.

James expressed hope that this would shed a light and keep the conversation going about dealing with racism in America. Dave Zirin, sports editor for The Nation magazine and host of "The Edge of Sports" podcast, analyzes James' response to the act of vandalism.
