Rachel Chavkin, TEAM artistic director and Tony Award nominee joins us to discuss TEAM’s two-night concert event, “Primer for a Failed Superpower.” She’ll be joined by Orion Stephanie Johnstone, the Music Supervisor and a collaborating composer for the concert, and Nehemiah Luckett, the Music Director. Developed over a five-year period, “Primer” gathers activists and musicians from different generations to perform, protest and sing together about what it means to be an American and fight for what you believe in.

“Primer” will be presented on August 22 and 23 at Roulette (509 Atlantic Ave., Brooklyn).
