What Did You Learn In 2014?

For a year-end feature, All Things Considered wants to know: What did you learn in 2014?

It's a very easy exercise: We're asking people across all walks of life to relate (in one minute or less) one thing they learned this year. It could be funny or serious, physical or mental. It can be a very small gap in your knowledge you finally filled — or a tremendous, life-changing thing.

We've already put the question to some of our NPR guests — Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Rock and Dave Barry.

Now, we want to hear from you. Just follow these simple instructions to participate:

1.) Call 470-SAY-2014 (470-279-2014).
2.) At the tone, leave a voicemail (less than a minute, please) that includes your name, where you're calling from and something you learned in 2014.

We'll take your submissions through Dec. 15, 2014, and may use them on the radio or NPR.org
