This has been a hard year for many musicians. Our sister station, WQXR, is trying to help with a project they call the "Artist Propulsion Lab," which supports and promotes local musicians.

As part of this project, we are airing some of the artists' music here on Morning Edition. Today we're featuring pieces by the Junction Trio: Violinist Stefan Jackiw, pianist Conrad Tao and cellist Jay Campbell.

They joined WNYC's Michael Hill to talk about how the three of them originally got connected, and how they now stay connected to their audiences through this long pandemic period.
