NJ Senator Frank Lautenberg died this morning at the age of 89. The Senate's longest-serving member -- and last remaining WWII veteran -- reportedly died of complications from pneumonia. Nearly a week after Hurricane Irene tore through the East Coast, many towns are still in the midst of the massive flooding that followed the storm. The city of Paterson, New Jersey is one of the places that the storm hit hardest. The low-lying city of about 150,000 sits along the banks of the Passaic River, which is dealing with the highest floods it has seen in more than a century. President Obama is scheduled to survey the damage there this weekend.
