Daniel Sbardella is the Senior Archivist at New York Public Radio.
Danny has more than two decades of experience in the field of audio preservation and archiving. His work with audio media spans the breadth of the history of recording technology, encompassing formats from 19th century wax cylinders to digital files. He has contributed to the preservation and access of the holdings of some of New York City's finest cultural heritage collections, including those at The Rodgers and Hammerstein Archive of Recorded Sound, New York University, and The City University of New York.
Danny is also a frequent guest lecturer and presenter on the topic of audio preservation at library and archive studies programs in metropolitan New York, including those at New York University, Pratt Institute, Queens College, and Long Island University.
