Sylvia Khoury’s, “Selling Kabul," is a 95-minute thriller that opened at Playwrights Horizons. Set in 2013, Taroon is hiding in his sister Afiya's (played by Marjan Neshat) apartment to avoid capture by the Taliban after serving as an interpreter for the U.S. military in Afghanistan. On the eve of his son’s birth, he must remain in his sister’s apartment, or risk his life to see his child. Sylvia and Marjan join to discuss working on the show, U.S. immigration policy and the legacy of our longest war.
