Playing SATURDAY at: Silent Barn (915 Wyckoff Ave, Ridgewood, Queens)
Info: Tickets ($8) | Directions

This band, with its epic name "Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt!", is nuts, but ready to include you in its hijinks. Generally, live shows feature some forty band and audience members on stage. The mic gets passed around and band members run around with disco ball hats and/or large light-up robots on their backs. They're also wearing enough glitter and strobe lights to alarm and confuse. It’s hard to say what the track "Iotdwykirthbr” means (or how it’s actually pronounced) but this outfit has a nuanced and exacting manner of conjuring up universal feelings of youth, exuberance and gets you on the dance floor.
