Kurt Andersen looks at the legacy of that broadcast and our lingering fears of all things nuclear. We’ll visit a decommissioned missile command base under a Kansas prairie, now inhabited by a peace activist turned real-estate agent. And gypsy rocker Eugene Hutz, who leads the band Gogol Bordello, uses songs and stories to tell how he fled Chernobyl with his family.
