High Line Sets High Bar for Vendors
WNYC News | Mar 26, 2011
The High Line is searching for food vendors that are local, seasonal and affordable to cater to guests who walk the elevated park on the West Side of Manhattan this spring, summer and fall.
The nonprofit that runs the park rotated food vendors monthly during its first two years.
Potential applicants said fitting all the requirements could be a challenge. But there's a big potential upside: two million people visited the park last year. That's a lot of mouths to feed.
