In late July, Facebook reached another milestone, surpassing 500 million users. In reporting his recent book, The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company that is Connecting the World, David Kirkpatrick received unprecedented access to the company and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg. He says that, in addition to other factors, Facebook’s founders succeeded largely because of their unique vision.
