In Studio: Markéta Irglová

Soundcheck | Oct 11, 2011

Czech pianist and singer Markéta Irglová is best known for her onscreen role in the 2007 film “Once,” about two musicians who form an unlikely partnership. (She co-starred with Glen Hansard, the other half of a songwriting duo called The Swell Season.) Today, Irglova joins us with “Anar,” a solo debut borne out of a move from Ireland to New York City and inspired by art and music from Iran. She joins us to play live.
