In Studio: Bela Fleck and the Flecktones

Soundcheck | Oct 27, 2011

Over the years, fans have come to know banjo master Bela Fleck and the Flecktones as a trio, rounded out by bassist Victor Wooten and percussionist Roy “Future Man” Wooten. But when sax player Jeff Coffin, who was a regular with the band for several years, recently made his departure for the greener pastures of the Dave Matthews Band, the group reunited with an original founding member of the group - harmonica player Howard Levy. The quartet, which put out its reunion album, Rocket Science, in May, joins us in the studio.

This is a repeat edition of Soundcheck.
